Archive History

The archive history tool allows you to generate images of your calculation history with a variety of options. Below is an example of saving an image of a sequence of calculations. Here we used the history cropping option to show just the last four entries.

Several options can help give your calculations a more familiar appearance for easy inclusion in documents. As shown below, you can specify a white background, align your calculations on the left, and remove the dividing lines. If you want to use a history image with other graphics, you can also specify a transparent background. You can even turn off the display of unit conversion specifications.

As shown in the two screen captures below, the archive history tool is great for saving large results that cannot be seen all at once in the history display.

The archive history tool is also useful for capturing a snapshot of the current calculation history.
